Mekanisk is an APPROVED and VERIFIED supplier to provide the 3D printed shapes of the Tactile Perception Test of the Evaluation of Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI).
All parts of the tactile shapes are printed according to specifications and quality set by the developers of the EASI e.g. approved plastic materials (PLA, PETG) used for printing, specifically food grade materials (FDA) for Tactile Perception (Shapes-Oral) as well as the printing process for oral shapes.

THE EASI KIT INCLUDES THESE 80 PARTS :
Tactile Perception: Shapes,
Oral (TP:SO)
- One set of 12 items + 12 nuts : all made with clear / white filament (food grade material)
TACTILE PERCEPTION: SHAPES,
PART I (TP:S1)
Two sets of shapes each:
- one complete set of 15 shapes with black filament (including two distractors and an additional long triangle, windshield and trapezoid shapes, as those shapes are used in both the trial and test).
- one complete set of 10 shapes with blue filament
TACTILE PERCEPTION: SHAPES,
PART II (TP:S2)
Two sets of shapes each:
- one complete set of 17 shapes with green filament (including two distractors)
- one complete set of 14 shapes with yellow filament

All parts are printed in a controlled environment to avoid any possible contamination during the processes. A glass build plate is cleaned and desinfected after every build, and a specific nozzle is reserved to print the “food grade” material parts.
All material used are good quality materials. No “low-end” or discounted filaments is used in our process.
Some test pieces include embeded magnets, as per test requirements.
